2:00 – 4:00 pm

Obviously we need to care for our planet everyday, but Earth Day provides a specific day for us to unite in doing something meaningful for our planet and our communities. We encourage you to join us on this important occasion. Beech Creek Gardens is a beautiful nature preserve that needs some hands-on tender loving care. What better way to celebrate Earth Day than to come together for a couple hours to get Beech Creek Gardens ready for a busy season ahead.

There will be opportunities for all ages to make a difference on our little part of the planet. Meet at the Visitor Center. Dress for the weather and bring work gloves. Volunteers will be assigned areas, and/or projects throughout the gardens & nature preserve. Projects include trail maintenance and garden clean-up, native garden conservation, picnic table building, and more.

Following the workday – enjoy a hot dog cookout.

Unable to join us to volunteer? You can still help by making an Earth Day donation to Beech Creek Gardens. Donors are as important as ever to help keep our environment intact and healthy for all to visit, explore, and enjoy. Together we can do our part to restore and care for the places where we live, work, and play for this and future generations.

Scout Troops are Welcome!   Please let us know that you are coming.
