Evenings in the Garden

Experience the gardens during the golden hours with live music, a cold beer, tasty wines, refreshing non-alcoholic beverages, and complimentary light bites. Enjoy an exclusive after-hours view of our beautiful gardens as you stroll through the butterfly house and our other exhibits, plus see raptors up close!

 

Easily practice social distancing at our unique and beautiful outdoor venue. Celebrate the evening, kickstart your weekend, and make a positive impact as you relax with friends and family. Funds raised will help us make up for lost funding during our COVID-19 closure.

Occurs rain or shine!

While attending, please be mindful of other guests and practice social distancing at all times. Face masks are required when interacting with the Beech Creek Gardens staff or volunteers.

Daniel Grey is an accomplished singer and guitarist who performs covers of hits from folk, country, rhythm & blues, and rock genres. 

Live Music Schedule

$25 per person

Includes 2 beverage tickets and light bites
(additional beverage tickets are available in-person for a $5 donation per drink ticket). Due to COVID-19, we are limiting the number of tickets sold.

You may also call us at (330) 829-7050 to reserve tickets and pay over the phone. Guests will also be accepted at the door on the night of the event, but please call ahead on the day of the event to ensure that we haven't already reached our limit.

2020 Online Auction
How It Works

Each year, our annual Evening in the Garden fundraising gala includes a silent auction. This year, we are hosting a series of online auctions, so even those who do not attend our new weekly Evenings in the Garden will have the opportunity to support us and win amazing prizes focused on unique experiences!

As often as we can, we will add new items available for future auctions, with 1-2 different items featured in each weekly auction. Each online auction will conclude at 9:30 pm on each respective night of Evening in the Garden. Winners will be announced live at each Evening in the Garden event and any winners not in attendance may be contacted to confirm pickup information.

What We Are Using

The online auction platform we are using to conduct our auctions is called 32auctions. You do not need to have an account with 32auctions in order to view our auctions, but you must create an account if you wish to bid. If you plan on bidding, we recommend you sign up for an account now, so you’re ready to go!

When you create an account, you will be asked to create a “display name”. Keep in mind that the display name you choose will be visible in the bid history which is public.

Click the heart icon on an auction item to add that item to your “watchlist” so you can easily return to it again for easy bidding. Click the star icon at the top of the page to view all the bids you’ve placed.


When you click on an auction item, you can view a description of the item, read pickup/shipping instructions, and see who donated the item. Each item up for auction will have a different starting bid amount and different minimum bid increments. 
 

Pickup/Shipping

For physical items that need picked up, please visit Beech Creek Gardens during our normal hours of operation or call ahead to schedule pick up. We are located at 11929 Beech St NE, Alliance, OH 44601. Otherwise, we can deliver within a 50-mile radius and delivery charges apply. Please call us at (330) 829-7050 or email info@beechcreekgardens.org to arrange delivery.
Items that can be sent via mail, such as gift certificates, will be sent within one week of winning, to the shipping address you provided during checkout.


Payment
To pay for your item, use the convenient online checkout offered by 32auctions. Just follow the invoice/payment link provided in your "winning bid" confirmation email. You may pay using a debit/credit card or a PayPal account. Please note that all payments are ultimately processed through PayPal, so you will receive a payment confirmation email from both 32auctions and PayPal regardless of how you paid.

Email Communications
You will receive email updates from 32auctions for the following circumstances:

  • Whenever important information about an auction you are participating in changes

  • Each time you become the leading bidder

  • Each time you are outbid

  • When the auction has ended (email will include a summary of your bid activity and an opportunity to donate)

  • If you are a winner (email will include a link to view your invoice and submit payment)

Do participants need to lie down or can they sit during Sound Bath?


Sound Bath is the most enjoyable while lying down. It allows the whole body to relax. But sitting down can also be an effective way of receiving it.




Do I have to bring anything with me for the Sound Bath?


If you require an equipment to enjoy the sound bath when lying down we can provide up to 20 yoga mats, blankets and eye pillows for sessions 1h long or longer at the extra cost. You can also ask participants to bring yoga mats and a blankets, alternatively something to place under the head. This is not necessary if the session is delivered while sitting.




Can I attend a Sound Bath if I am pregnant?


Yes! The Sound Bath experience can be very benefitial and enjoyable for both mum to be and a baby. Soothing and relaxing sounds will help help to calm the mind and relax the body.




Who should not attend the Sound Bath?


There are only a few contraindications to use sound and mindfulness techniques. The sound triggered epilepsy or history of seizures. Serious mental health conditions e.g. schizophrenia, bipolar depression, and advanced psychosis. Sound bath is a very safe relaxation method. People can experience it in different ways depending on the stress level, and the mind additation, but it is generally very relaxing and enjojable experience.




How many people can attend the Sound Bath?


We play for any number of participants, depending on the space available​. We can play for just a few participants or large gatherings.




How long is the Sound Bath?


The minimum length of the sound bath session is 1h The maximum length of the session is 2 hours. We also play with the minimum instruments during the seminars or mindfulness practice. This can be as short as 15 min practice.




What instruments do you bring?


We have a wide range of instruments available. Depending on the space available and duration of the session we can bring a MINI SET with a few singing bowls, chimes and handpan drum. Usually for a medium conference room and up to 20 people we bring MIDI SET of 8 singing bowls, chimes, hangdrum, rainstick, bells, drum, and 2 gongs. MAXI SET with up to 12 singing bowls, large chime bells, and up to 6 gongs for larger conferances. Cost will reflect the choice of instruments as it takes much longer to set up with more instruments and the session will have to involve two facilitatours.




How many facilitatours lead the Sound Bath?


Depending on the instruments required and our availability Sound Bath is done by one facilitatour or two. Number of facilitatours does not change the quality of the session but it is dependend on our availability that day. In case of larger gatherings we travel together to set up the space more effitiently. With MAXI SET UP we will travel together.




Is there any extra preperation time required?


Yes. Depending on the number of instruments. We will require a minimum time of 20 min before the session and 15 min after the session to set up the instruments. With the larger event we will require up to 40 min before the session and 30 min after. Any extra help with moving the instruments is always appreciated but not required.
