GETTING HERE

Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve is located at 11929 Beech St NE in Alliance, Ohio 44601, one mile east of State Route 62, at the intersection of Beech St NE and Oakhill Ave NE. 

Driving Directions

Please note: Only cross the railroad tracks at the intersection of Beech St NE and Oakhill Ave NE. 

Do not cross the railroad tracks at any other location along Oakhill Ave NE.

From the West (Canton/Massillon area)

Take I-77 N and use exit 107B for US-62 E toward Alliance. Turn right onto Beech St NE. Destination will be on the left, before the railroad tracks.

From the North (Cleveland/Akron area)

Take I-77 S and use exit 107B for US-62 E toward Alliance. Turn right onto Beech St NE. Destination will be on the left, before the railroad tracks.

From the North (Kent area)

Take OH-43 S to merge on I-76 E and use exit 38A for OH-44 S. Slight right onto Paris Ave NE. Turn left onto Beech St NE. Destination will be on the left, before the railroad tracks.

From the East (Youngstown area)

Take I-680 N to merge onto I-80 W. Keep left to continue on I-76 W, follow signs for Akron. Use exit 48 for OH-225 toward Alliance. Turn left onto OH-225 S, then at the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto US-224 W. Turn left onto OH-225. Turn right onto US-62T and continue onto US-62 W/Atlantic Blvd NE. Turn left on Beech St NE. Destination will be on the left, before the railroad tracks.

From the East (Salem area)

Take OH-173 W/W State St, then turn left onto S Mahoning Ave. Turn right onto E Beech St. Destination will be on the right, after crossing the railroad tracks.

From the South (Carrolton/Minerva area)

Take OH-43 N, then turn right onto OH-183 East. Turn left onto Blade Rd and continue onto 44/Paris Ave SE. Turn left onto US-30 W, then slight right onto 44/Paris Ave SE. Turn left onto 44/Paris Ave NE, then turn right to stay on 44/Paris Ave NE. Turn right onto OH-153 E, then turn left onto Lynnhaven Ave NE. Continue onto 97/Herbster St NE, then continue onto Oakhill Ave NE. Turn left on Beech St NE and cross the railroad tracks. Destination will be on the right.

Public Transportation

The closest SARTA bus stop is on W State St outside of Walmart. Take a 1-mile walk down Oakhill Ave NE to reach the Gardens. For more information on SARTA bus routes or to plan your trip, visit SARTA's Trip Planner

Parking

We offer free on-site parking. Handicapped parking is available directly outside the Visitor Center, Butterfly House, and Nature Playce. Even if you are not legally handicapped, if you have a mobility issue, you may park in the handicapped parking spots.
