SPRING BREAK CAMPS

2022 Spring Break Adventure Day Camp 

On March 30 & 31, as well as April  13 & 14, join us for a one-of-a-kind camp from 11-3 p.m.! Children aged 7-12 years will get up close views of local wildlife, try their hand at STEM based science experiments, and explore the trails of Beech Creek Botanical Gardens and Nature Preserve. Each day will have new activities feel free to register for more than one.

Animal Encounter

Dress accordingly! Campers will be going on a nature hike exploring the wonders of Beech Creek and Raptor Hallow Sanctuary.

Campers will learn about hibernation and get to create their own animal habitats from items they collect in nature. They will also make a bird suet feeder that they will be able to take home.

One of the animal ambassadors will be greeting the campers for an up-close experience.

Dress accordingly! Campers will be going on a nature hike exploring the wonders of Beech Creek and Raptor Hallow Sanctuary.

Campers will be tasked to find different nature items throughout the trails. Some items may even be alive!

Campers will use their imagination and create their own masterpiece from items they collect on their scavenger hunt and get to take it home!

Cancellation Policy:
Please contact us ASAP if your child will be unable to attend camp. Notice of cancellation must be received in writing at least 14 days prior to the scheduled camp date to receive a refund. You will be refunded the camp fee minus a $20 processing fee. No refunds will be issued with less than 14 business days notice. Beech Creek Gardens will only cancel a camp due to severe weather warnings and extremely high winds.

Registration Protocol

You must pay here before registration. The registration page is password protected, an email with a password will be sent after purchase.

Bring: Healthy lunch, water bottle, pump or lotion insect repellent (recommendations), and backpack (label all items with camper's name).

Clothing: We recommend campers wear comfortable, rugged clothes & shoes that can get muddy, or grass & dirt stained. Dress for the weather (layers are best), bring extra socks, and wear hiking boots or shoes. On water days, a change of clothing is recommended for the afternoon.

A typical day at camp goes something like this...

  • Welcome, introductions, news and important stuff, prep to head out on the adventure

  • Adventure time (see topics listed by dates

  • Lunch (spring break camp & summer camp)

  • Outdoor games / outdoor activity

  • Art, craft or construction (build something) activity

  • Snack time

  • Free time at Nature Playce

  • Head for home

How to Register

  1. Online payment is required before registering your camper(s). Visit our online store to add all your selected camp dates to your cart and pay for all of them in one transaction.

    If the site prevents you from adding quantities, then that specific camp date has reached the 25 person limit and you will be unable to add additional quantities to your cart.

  2. You will receive a payment confirmation email after purchasing your camp dates with a password to access the registration page.

  • Non-Members: $27.50 per day per child

  • Members: $24.50 per day per child

Drop Off & Pick Up Times

(Occurs 15 minutes before & after the camp duration)

  • Camp: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

  • Drop off: 10:30 - 11:00 am

  • Pick up: 3:00 - 3:30 pm
