• Beech Creek is the ideal place to work on Scout badges and service projects.

  • The Butterfly House and Caterpillar Nursery are perfect for learning about insects.  Our volunteer "Flight" attendants are very knowledgeable and love sharing what they know.

  • The Amazing Garden provides insightful, interactive learning experiences about plants and animals.

  • Our many trails offer an extensive opportunity for plant identification, habitat exploring, tracking and yes, we can always use help clearing invasive.

  • You can schedule a guided learning experience that our education staff can lead or you can bring your scouts and lead your own exploration. If you are directing your own program, we ask that you call ahead (330-892-7050) to let us know you will be visiting as a scout troop.

  • Guided learning experiences (using BC education staff) need to be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.  We can help address most badge requirements. Contact our Education Director at 330-892-7050 or (subj: Guided Scout visit) to discuss details. Contact us 330-892-7050
