VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

A Message From Our Volunteer Coordinator

     Welcome to Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve. We’re so glad you’re here, we have so many opportunities for you to share your time with us. 

       Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization and allow us to offer vital programming and events to our members and guests. We want every visitor to enjoy their time at the Gardens, soaking in the beauty that surrounds them, enjoying the diversity of plants and animals that inhabit our nature preserve.

       If you’re not sure where you’d like to volunteer, contact me to be added to our email list to receive our volunteer opportunities on a regular basis.  Also, keep an eye out for our annual Volunteer Information Day in April where you can find out more about volunteering at Beech Creek Gardens in person.

School Field Trip Guide / Volunteer 

End of April - Beginning of June.

Support our Education Department by assisting with school field trips.  Choose the days that work best for you!

Butterfly House Flight Attendant

Daily shifts June - September

Beginning June 5th greet our visitors & guests, show them points of interest in the Butterfly House and Caterpillar Nursery and answer questions.  Knowledge of butterflies is helpful but not necessary.
