Groundhogs Up Close!

Sunday, January 31, 2021

Inside the Creekside Center for Water Sciences

*Masks are required*

Join us for a series of special wildlife presentations in honor of Groundhog Day! See, learn and experience live groundhogs up close as you meet our official Groundhog Weather Prognosticators - Terra Ground and Valentine! Our wildlife rehabilitation specialist, Krista, will teach you about these interesting critters and educate visitors about the history, culture, and science behind Groundhog Day. Visitors will get to view the groundhogs up close, hear interesting facts about them and ask questions. Plus, enjoy family-friendly activities at the Creekside Center for Water Sciences before and after each presentation.

This program is included with general admission, but a presentation ticket is also required for entry into the program since spaced is limited. Request your free presentation ticket at the Visitor Center on the day of the event.

Presentation start times:

1 pm, 1:30 pm, 2 pm, 2:30 pm

Each presentation lasts 20 minutes
