BUTTERFLY RELEASE

Our seasonal butterfly house was established to educate and inspire people to understand native Ohio butterfly species and to make choices to help support their life cycle. Each September, we release our native butterflies back into the wild. Helping us release these butterflies not only helps to support our nonprofit organization, but also helps to increase the native butterfly species in our local environment. In lieu of a big release celebration event this year because of COVID-19 restrictions, we are instead offering numerous intimate release opportunities for families to celebrate their own special moment connecting with nature in a private butterfly release that is meaningful to you.

Thank you for your continued support!

Daytime Release

September 7-13

Seen as a tribute to life, rebirth, and freedom, butterflies also represent endurance, hope, growth, and transformation. A butterfly release is an ideal way to make any important event into a moment never forgotten.

As you release the butterflies, know that you are also giving back to nature and encouraging life to go on.

We have a limited number of butterflies available, so preorder is required. Order online, call us at (330) 829-7050 or order in-person at our Visit Center.
