PLEIN AIR
PAINT OUT
BOTANICAL GARDEN & NATURE PRESERVE
Spend the day surrounded by nature and creativity during Beech Creek Gardens' Plein Air & Paint Out. Artists of all skill levels are invited to paint throughout our beautiful 181-acre botanical garden and nature preserve while guests explore the grounds and watch artwork come to life.

The Ohio Plein Air Society will be painting alongside local and regional artists, creating a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of plein air painting in action.
CALLING LOCAL ARTIST
Whether you're an experienced plein air painter or trying it for the first time, we welcome artists ages 12 and up to participate.
​
Artists should arrive at 9:00 AM to check in, park, and carry their supplies to their chosen painting location. Participants may set up anywhere on the property that inspires them.
Artists must provide all of their own equipment, including:

Easels
-
Paints and brushes
-
Canvases or paper
-
Tables (if desired)
-
Chairs
-
Tents or umbrellas (optional)
-
Trash bags
-
Any other supplies needed for the day​

At the end of the event, completed artwork may be displayed in our pavilion gallery. Artists are welcome to offer their work for sale during the public viewing.

FOR VISITORS
Guests are invited to stroll the gardens, watch artists create paintings throughout the preserve, and visit the pavilion gallery to view and purchase finished artwork.

This event offers a wonderful opportunity to experience art and nature together while supporting local artists.
Regular admission applies. Beech Creek members receive free admission.
